Support for the Goa Against Coal Movement
Terra Conscious developed a website as a communication platform for the Goa Against Coal movement.
We also conducted a review of the marine ecology section of the EIA conducted by WAPCOS Ltd. The review highlighted the gaps in the EIA and provided recommendations for the same. The findings of the review were then presented at the public hearings held in April 2017.
We also involved a network of marine biologists to conduct an expert review on the impact of the MPT coal port expansion on the key species found in the project area.

Terra Conscious held a discussion with the Chief Economic Advisor on the priorities for Marine and Coastal Conservation in Goa and the gaps therein.
